Friends, in the past few months I’ve had several people reach out, asking if I would host a discussion about Fearing Bravely, a book that considers what Jesus taught about loving (not fearing) our neighbors, and strangers, and even enemies.
It feels like a good idea, and a good time to do it. I wrote this book with the hope that it would be read in groups, because rewiring our brains away from fear and towards love isn’t something we can do on our own. And, loving our neighbors—much less our enemies—isn’t something we can do alone, either. This is a team project, without a doubt.
And if there was ever a time to put our heads together and consider what this might look like, it’s now.
So, I’m game. Do you want to join me? If so, just sign up here and mark your calendars. I’ll reach out with a Zoom link a day or so before the discussion. I’d love to see you there!
